GIUNGLA GUCCI
a menswear activewear project
The main inspiration for the choice of the theme of the project refers to nature, in particular to the South American Jungle with its flora and fauna.
Being an Activewear project, I chose to make an immediate comparison between the speed of man and that felines, in particular the jaguar, a well-known inhabitant of the jungle, thus trying to combine classic sportswear with a specific environment, which is revealed through the forest prints for the tracksuit and the down jacket, the placed print of the jaguar on the sweatshirt and the embroidery of the same animal on the sweater.
In addition to these clear representations, the presence of the jungle also translates into the choice of bright and lively colors, representative of the variegated flora, which contrast with the more classic and soft colors that belong to the world Gucci; world always at the center of the project through the classic allover prints, the presence of the web ribbon that finishes invisible zippers and cuffs and the double G by Gucci that appears quilted on the back of the duvets.
